Smart Phone Installation

    • Installation is straight forward.
    • Follow installation instructions for CAB file
    • Eplixo uses Flash Plugin so that must also be installed

Windows Mobile For Now

    • Currently Eplixo works on Windows Mobile Smart Phones using Internet Explorer and Flash plugin
    • It also works in voice mode on Smart Phones in web format and you can see video link from PC or laptop
    • Development is under way to deliver Android, Symbian and iPhone later in 2010

How does it work?

    • Invitations sent from phone contacts via SMS and or Email.
    • Users receive conference invitation as a standard SMS or email in their inbox.
    • Single click to load Internet Explorer on Smart Phones and PC or Laptop and you are in conference.
    • If application is not on Smart Phone you have Voice send and Video and Voice receive capability
    • Click button to download and install for full video and audio send from Smart Phone
    • Invites are in the SMS inbox with access via the "Invites" button

Error when accessed via SMS Setup

    • Make sure you use Internet Explorer and Flash Plugin
    • Make sure that Internet Explorer is your default browser on Smart Phone to get immediate access from SMS link received
    • We have tried to keep the use as intuitive as possible. This is still in Beta testing and refresh buttons are there in case the browser does not automatically update the SMS sent so if in doubt click refresh

Alternative connections via the web are free

    • Eplixo comes as two applications, web and smart phone.
    • The web video chat facility allows you to chat with up to six people by sending them emails from your PC
    • They connect instantly by clicking on the link in their email. There is nothing for your guests to download.
