Dublin, Ireland: Kirkland, WA, USA: Date: 19th May 2010 – Eplixo (“Eplixo”, or “the Company”), the Software Company specializing in video conferencing systems on smart-phone 3G and Wi-Fi networks over VoIP has agreed to acquire video and communications software specialists Dinsk LLP from Kirkland, Washington, USA for a consideration of $3 million United States dollars.

Working capital will be advanced over a 2 year period and subject to agreed milestones the remainder in cash and equity after 24 months. Exceeding certain milestones could add a further 10% to the acquisition value.

Software solution to Apple/Adobe Flash HTML5 war for iPhones and iPad

The combined technology delivers a software solution to the Flash < => HTML5 dispute between Apple and Adobe. It enables Smart Phones including iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile and Nokia to deliver high quality audio and H.264 video across all Smart Phone and web platforms. This will also extend Eplixo into premium Tandberg and Cisco Enterprise and Government Video Conference systems for standard and encrypted connections from Smart Phones.

Eplixo launches SMS invitation to web video chat

Eplixo (“Eplixo“, or “the Company”), the Software Company specializing in video conferencing systems on smart-phone 3G and Wi-Fi networks over VoIP has is pleased to announce the introduction of SMS invitations to Video Chat.

By sending SMS invitations to more than 2 billion mobile phones users can be provided with access to web based video conference services from as little as $0.10 per hour for each conference guest. Smart Phone users may access the Video Chat immediately by clicking on the link in the SMS while non Smart Phone users may access the video chat by going online and accessing via an email with a single click on the hyperlink to the conference.
